It was another outstanding year for the Iowa Delta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon. At Drake University’s annual FSLebrations Award Ceremony, Iowa Delta was recognized for its continued excellence and impact across campus. The chapter took home three major chapter awards, along with several individual honors, highlighting the dedication and involvement of its members over the past year.
As a chapter, Iowa Delta earned IFC Outstanding Programming, IFC Highest GPA, and IFC Chapter of the Year. These awards reflect the time, effort, and commitment our brothers have put into making SigEp a leader within Drake’s FSL community.
Several members were also recognized individually for their achievements. Sophomore Cole Ferrao received the Outstanding Drake Spirit Award. Sophomore Sean Groh was honored with the Outstanding Campus Involvement Award.
In addition, senior Ben Denly was inducted into the IFC Hall of Fame. Our chapter sweetheart, Josie Mayabb, was also inducted into the PHO Hall of Fame.
Iowa Delta’s Faculty Fellow, Tom Buckmiller, was recognized as Outstanding Chapter Advisor for the third year in a row, continuing his long-standing support and impact on the chapter.
These awards are a testament to the hard work, leadership, and passion shown by so many members of Iowa Delta throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of all that our chapter has accomplished and are excited to build on this success in the year ahead.
