On November 13th, Sigma Phi Epsilon’s newly elected Grand Chapter President, Brad Nahrstadt, visited Iowa Delta. Mr. Nahrstadt served as Junior brother Will Wanty’s Ruck Leader at the Ruck Leadership Institute in Richmond, VA last summer. Inspired by Nahrstadt’s leadership and public speaking skills, Will felt Iowa Delta would greatly benefit from his knowledge and SigEp expertise. Mr. Nahrstadt explained what the SigEp Grand Chapter is responsible for and shared that Sigma Phi Epsilon is the only fraternity where the SigEp undergraduates direct the decisions of the national chapter. Having a voice in the direction of the fraternity promotes a better chapter experience. “I firmly believe that our solution to the struggles facing young men today is to provide a bigger and better SigEp experience,” Nahrstadt said. “And that requires an investment – an investment in our chapter experience, in our volunteer experience, and in our programming.” Iowa Delta Chapter President Luke Gregoire said, “Having Grand Chapter President, Brad Nahrstadt, come visit our chapter is a historic moment for the Iowa Delta chapter. It was a great opportunity for our members to be exposed to what it truly means to be a SigEp.” Brad Nahrstadt’s visit left a positive impact and inspired the brothers of the Iowa Delta.
